ANCIENT BELLEVUE GAZEBO

This marvelous structure was once located at the home of Col. W.S. Ramsay, former teacher, Baptist minister and one of the youngest colonels in the Confederate Army.

Ramsay's house was located at the southeast corner of Bellevue and Ramsay Streets.  The gazebo, thought to have been built before 1900, was moved and placed in the back yard of Mr. and Mrs. B.B. Page just across Ramsay Street from the Ramsay home.
